Delete your Contri account

1. Open Contri.
2. Tap Profile.
3. Tap the Settings gear.
4. Scroll to Danger zone.
5. Tap Delete account.
6. Confirm deletion.

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email help@contri.money from your registered email address if possible.

Subject: Delete my Contri account

Support may need to verify that you control the account before acting on the request. Email requests may take a reasonable time to review and process.

• Your account and profile are deactivated and anonymized immediately after successful confirmation.
• Profile identifiers are anonymized.
• Phone and photo fields are cleared if present.
• Your FCM or push token is cleared.
• Your UPI compatibility field is cleared if present.
• The deleted account cannot continue normal authenticated use.
• The app signs you out locally.

Contri is a shared ledger product, so some records may remain where they are needed for other participants' ledgers and history.

• Shared group expenses, splits, settlements, balances, and history.
• Guest or member historical context needed to understand shared records.
• Records needed for other participants' group ledgers.
• Security, abuse-prevention, legal, support, or diagnostic records as needed.

Personal logs are private to you while your account is active and can be deleted from inside the product where that control is available.

If you want account deletion to include personal-log handling, contact support at help@contri.money. Support can review what is possible for your account and the current product behavior.

• Contri does not hold payment funds.
• Contri does not hold payment credentials.
• Contri does not collect UPI PINs, card credentials, bank credentials, or payment passwords.
• Contri does not process, reverse, refund, verify, or guarantee payments.
